Harvest Festival. preacher Revd G Bowell followed by a faith lunch, it was a mega feast

Church Council Meeting it lasted for more than two hours and discussed Chapel finances, plans for a disability ramp, future ministry at Seamer, the Nursery School as well as our way ahead. Diane Robinson, Circuit Steward updated us on circuit happenings. Welcome given to Lorna Glass steward and probationary preacher/leader. Plans were made for Christmas services plus events and happenings Nov, Dec, Jan and thereafter.
2nd October

9th October
Sunday Service preacher Margaret Doughty organist Mark Gaye lovely quiet reflective preaching excellent to hear our organ being played once again thank you Margaret and thank you Mark.
13th October
Planning meeting at Chapel leader Margaret Neave. We planned and arranged a lot of events and activities. The meeting started with decisions as to how to make Christmas decoration of the church and continued making arrangements and plans to the end of summer 2012. It was nice to have Minister Geoff and Helen join the meeting.
16th October

Thursday Christmas prep. activities begin. Oct–Dec 2pm each Thursday all welcome
24th–28th October
Half Term–opportunity to clean, tidy and paint the long corridor with Michael and Jim plus a small amount of plumbing as an extra for Michael and friend 9.30am to 4pm each day.
22nd October
Quiz and Pudding Night in chapel at 6.30pm. Come and enjoy some of our many home made puddings, trifles, Pavlovas and fruit flans as well as test your brains. Note the early start.
23rd October
Sunday Service to be lead by Michelle Bradbury. Welcome back Michelle!
